Madagascar has at least 113 different types of lemurs! Red Ruffed. ONLY appear in Madagascar. The Red Ruffed lemur has a black tail and face and everything else is reddish orange. Ring-Tailed. The Ring-Tailed lemur gets its name OBVIOUSLY because of its black and white striped tail. Also called the Lemur Catta. Dancing Lemur. The Dancing Lemur got its name for being the breed of lemur that loves to spring across a field almost like it was dancing. The Dancing Lemur is mostly white with a dark brown hood and black face.
